Self-discipline & Social distancing

ISHT Life platform perceives here that आत्म-अनुशासन say Self-Discipline is one of the foundation stone for ISHT Life building.

Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping space between oneself with others. To practice such  distancing:

  • Stay at least 6 feet away (about 2 arms’ length) from other people
  • Do not gather in groups
  • Stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings

Most of us are now enough aware of social distancing. We already have proper Tips and Guidance regarding social distancing from state authorities and media (traditional media and social media)

Though there are proper awareness and understanding about social or physical distancing, sometimes we feel temptation, greed or needless craving to overrule it. This can happen with anybody, ‘yes, with me, with you with any normal person also’.  May the reason lies in the theory of Genesis or in Past-birth Rebirth or Children upbringing!

Whatever the reason may be, the solution is leading our life towards ISHT Life, living ISHT LIFE.

 

Here one of the essential factors is explored that can be helpful in the present situation of social or physical distancing i.e. Self-discipline.

“Self-Discipline is wisdom and vice versa.” It is absolutely inherent. No other person can forcefully apply it upon others., It comes from within. Self-discipline doubtlessly increases our strength to stick to our benevolent decisions and follow them through, without changing our minds.

Dalai Lama had also uttered: “A disciplined mind leads to happiness, and an undisciplined mind leads to suffering.” ISHT life platform entrusts you to live ISHT life agreeing with the perception of His Holiness the  Dalai Lama.

This is a self proven truth, that mind is having a major influence on a person’s behavioural habits of thought, speech and action (मनसा, वाचा, कर्मणा). Self-discipline is about improving and better educating existing righteous habits and establishing new virtuous habits of thought, speech and action. 

Self-discipline isn’t just something that happens once and you’re done, It’s a full time and real-time practice. Not only from childhood, but from the womb of mother we are in the process of developing Self-discipline.

Most Self-discipline processes are a direct and indirect process of our neuropsychological upliftment. “We are but a bunch of neurons.” according to Abhijit Naskar. Abhijit Naskar is one of the world’s famous Neuroscientists and an untiring advocate of global harmony and peace.

Self-driven and Self-disciplined personalities are more successful.
